Invitation and Interviews

Based on the evaluation of the recruitment committee, the applicants will be short-listed and invited to attend the online IMPRS-MOB Recruitment Event in March. The applicants have personal interviews with faculty members and present their research project which they have conducted during their academic education. The shortlisted applicants have the opportunity to meet with other IMPRS students and the PhD committee to learn more about the program and other PhD-related topics at the onsite Recruitment Day in May. At the end of this event, applicants can name their favorite research group(s) and based on this selection, successful applicants will be matched with their research group of choice.

 Admission

Applicants will be notified in given time after the recruitment event about the outcome of the selection process. Accepted PhD candidates can start their work any time during the year, depending on the agreement with the prospective research group, latest in October.

The graduate program starts each year in October.
